My Story

Leading is caring for others.

We are all born into this world naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. Yet, we take different paths due to external influences that affect our internal decisions in life!

I was brought up in an entrepreneurial home with a dad who was a very authoritarian leader in his business and also at home. That was the only image that I could relate to during my childhood, and yet I always knew and felt that leadership through kindness was the philosophy that resonated with me the most.

After completing my studies in Sweden and embarking on a 28-years career in hospitality, I experienced and tried to find my own style of leadership. To find the right balance was not easy and it remains the number one challenge for most leaders. Two things that helped me along the way was asking difficult questions regarding the purpose of leadership and answering the call of duty by living my values as a human-being and a leader.

My curiosity eventually led me to the doors of the Co-active Training Institute in 2016, where I could deep dive into the extraordinary world of Co-active Coaching and Leadership. Once you embark on a coaching journey it never ends, and in 2018 I continued learning about the transformational coaching methodology.

By 2019, I had reached a milestone in my career having led diverse global sales teams in four different multi-nationals and having survived several global mergers. Although the corporate cultures differed between one organization and another, I strongly believed what made the difference was creating a safe environment for the team to work in, leading the mission while living your values each day, and declaring clearly your purpose in leadership.

The year 2019 was also a memorable moment as I received my ICF credential as a Professional Certified Coach. A step that identified me as a professional in the coaching industry after dedicating hundreds of coaching hours. The covid-19 pandemic brought major changes and opportunities into my life, and in 2020 Coach Pedari kicked-off in the United Arab Emirates. In 2021, I joined the EMCC Global family as a Senior Practitioner and ensuring that my commitment to continuous learning as a professional coach never stops.

My passion for learning and development during my time at Marriott International regional office in Dubai allowed me to fulfill another cause, and that being working with young sales and service professionals, leading to hundreds of associate certifications as a training facilitator in Middle East & Africa. In mid-2020 I took introduced The Right Choice Selling©2020 which allowed me to share successful and proven sales and service related learning with more professionals across different industries. This passion for learning put me on the path to receive the Learning & Development Specialist Certificate by AIHR in 2021.

The 13th-century Persian philosopher/poet said” “I know you’re tired but come, this is the way.” In 2021, a friend by the name of Erik Seversen approached me to be one of the 34 co-authors of the best seller book “Winner’s Mindset“, and that was another memorable set in my personal/professional life which led me to start working on my current book “The Heart of Coaching”; the title was obvious prior to the finished work through a deep conversation with a fellow co-author and friend by the name of Gilad Karni.

Coach Pedari has since worked and continues to work with young, aspiring and successful leaders in multi-nationals based in Europe and local regional offices in Middle East, Africa and Asia. The booming digital era has blessed the industry and the democratization of coaching across the globe. Organizations that continue to work with Coach Pedari are IKEA Global, PepsiCo., Amazon, Mitsubishi Chemicals, Airbus, Fujitsu, African Leadership University, Leumi Bank, Unilab, Airbus, Peri Group, Siemens, MSC Cruises, Swedish Steel, System Bolaget, Pernod Ricard, Haldex,Metro, HometoGo, and the list grows.

My name is Sohail Pedari; my friends and clients call me Coach Pedari; and I take pride in my mission to work with young leaders who want to live their values with a crystal clear purpose and leave a legacy long after the game is over.
